VIRGINIA DIVISION ATTENDS 55th ANNUAL GENERAL CONVENTION
IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA

Mr. William Myers (Past President of Virginia Division CofC, Vice President General CofC, and a member of Belle Boyd Chapter No. 516) attended the 55th Annual General Convention in Orlando, Florida. Thank you, Will, for representing Virginia! 
We brought home many awards after a very successful CofC year. Thank you to everyone for making Virginia Division CofC the wonderful organization that it is!

CofC alum Miss Brianne King (Past President of Virginia Division CofC, CofC Chairman of Judges, and a member of Richmond-Stonewall Jackson Chapter UDC) was the recipient of this year's Robert E. Lee Award from the General Organization. Congratulations, Brianne!

  • Fannie Tarver Tray–awarded to the Division Director sending in the most perfect applications papers (second year in a row)
  • Ruth Ellen, Florence and Frances Jones Award–awarded to the Division with the most outstanding educational and historical achievements
  • Margaret Murdock Award–awarded to the Division submitting the best report on Patriotic Activities.
  • Mrs. Harry D. Allen Award–awarded to the Division purchasing the most Catechisms educational and historical achievement. second year in a row)
  • Millennium Award–awarded to the Division with membership 249 and under purchasing the most Minute Books
  • North Carolina Division Award–awarded to the Division with 100–249 members with the best scrapbook

  • Dickens Award–awarded to the Chapter with membership 15-29 members sending in the best all around report- Nannie Seddon Barney No. 23
  • Mrs. Chester C. Cameron Award–awarded to the chapter reporting the most outstanding civic work- Nannie Seddon Barney No. 23
  • John C. Chappell Award–awarded to the Chapter having the largest attendance on percentage basis at its Division Convention- Pickett-Buchanan Juniors No. 16
